Bryce tells the story of running into her future husband — actor Seth Gabel — for the first time. Somehow, she instantly “knew” that he was the man she would marry. Howard’s reaction wasn’t just mental, it was physical as well. “I literally broke into hives,” she said.

Breaking out into a itchy rash isn’t a sign of true love for most people, but it was for Bryce. After meeting Seth, she went home and wrote in her journal that she would one day marry him.

While talking to George Lopez, Bryce revealed an important part of being psychic: It requires some effort! For instance, Bryce “stalked” her future husband for eight months. She made herself go to a party that he was attending — and wore her high school prom dress. (Which is weird, but maybe less weird than breaking out in hives.)

Still, the whole thing worked out. Seth and Bryce are now married and have a three-year-old son. But the secret of being psychic might be perspiration, not inspiration. “Maybe I’m not psychic,” Bryce said. “[Maybe I just] made it happen.” Right. Good to know. If you have a vision that you will marry someone, you still need to dress up and go to a party in order to talk to them. (The hives and prom dress part might be optional, though.)

As soon as Bryce Dallas Howard got the script for Clint Eastwood’s latest drama, “Hereafter,” she was hooked.

And it wasn’t just because Eastwood was directing and Matt Damon was playing the leading role. It was because the flick’s central character ? a man with the ability to speak to the dead ? hit close to home.

“It’s personal for me because a lot of my family members actually have that ability,” says the 29-year-old. “It’s kind of wild.”

In “Hereafter,” which hit screens Friday, Damon stars as a reclusive psychic who can carry on conversations with the deceased. Howard insists that her family, which includes her famous father, director Ron Howard, possesses a similar sixth sense.

“It’s seeing things, hearing things, getting senses from people. Knowing what has happened to them, knowing what they’re facing, even if they’re strangers. It’s really, really crazy,” she says.

There are many reasons to love Bryce Dallas Howard, among them her immense acting talent, her willingness to train for a part (and do her own sometimes crazy stunts), and her flaming red hair.

But wearing risky runway looks on the red carpet isn’t a general habit for the star of Hereafter and Twilight: Eclipse and that’s where NYLON comes into the picture. For our October issue, we shot a fashion story with the Connecticut native, and piled Bryce with catwalk staples like Chanel, and a ton of killer accessories.

The first Gwen Stacy, Bryce Dallas Howard, is giving the new Gwen Stacy, Emma Stone, a big endorsement.

“She’s like Gwen Stacy 2.0!” Bryce told Access Hollywood over the weekend at the “Hereafter” junket when asked about Emma’s recent casting as the web-slinger’s love interest in the upcoming “Spider-Man” reboot.

“Faster, funnier, sexier – like more awesome!” Bryce said of Emma, who she co-stars with in the upcoming big screen adaptation of Kathryn Stockett’s novel “The Help.” “She’s gonna kill it. She’s going to be amazing.”

The actress feels Emma’s own personality will help her embody the role that Bryce first played on the big screen in 2007’s “Spider-Man 3”

”[Emma is] so bright and so hilarious and has so much joie de vie and Gwen really embodies that,” Bryce continued. “She’s just perfect.”

It seems as though Bryce will be featured in the October issue of Nylon magazine. Right now I don’t have the scans or any news on the issue but we do have outtakes, thanks to a fan of the site for pointing it out to us. Here is information from the blog that features the outtakes.

One of the greatest pleasures of my work is styling talented actresses/actors for fashion magazines such as Nylon. We get to experiment with designers that rule the couture world such as Chanel mixed with denim brands like Diesel. Bryce Dallas Howard is one of the the most authentic and kind actresses i’ve ever styled. She is a dedicated actress, mother, wife,producer and writer; and an enthusiastic follower of fashion trends/designers. I’m looking forward to seeing her upcoming films and i now have a different perspective on her role in The Eclipse film (she’s the new Victoria character).

Here are the 2 looks that were edited to appear in the October 2010 issue of Nylon magazine, which we had fun putting together!! She loved the crazy layering and especially loved the furry Chanel ankle boots and the layers of cuffs and bangles i mxed together from different jewelry designers.
