There was an unofficial trailer released for Bryce’s film The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond. The much anticipated movie is finally getting a release soon and there is a new official trailer that has hit the internet.

THE LOSS OF A TEARDROP DIAMOND is a new drama based on a recently rediscovered original screenplay by legendary writer Tennessee Williams. Starring Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Evans, the Paladin release will open in New York and Los Angeles in late December, with expansion to major markets following in early 2010. Academy Award-winner Ellen Burstyn, Academy Award-nominee Ann-Margret, Mamie Gummer, and Will Patton co-star in the film which was directed by award-winning short filmmaker and stage and screen actress Jodie Markell, in her feature debut.

Imagine Entertainment announced filming has just begun on Gus Van Sant’s as yet untitled film starring Mia Wasikowska (Alice in Wonderland) and Henry Hopper (the 19 year old son of Dennis Hopper and Katherine LaNasa). Based on the stage play Of Winter and Water Birds, written by and adapted for the screen by Jason Lew, the latest love story from Van Sant is being shot in Portland, Oregon. Imagine Entertainment’s Brian Grazer and Ron Howard are producing along with Howard’s daughter, actress Bryce Dallas Howard, and Van Sant.

First time feature film producer Bryce Dallas Howard stated, “This film is a quietly epic coming of age story. It captures the profoundly defining turning point of a young person’s life with stark realism, irreverent humor, and intense emotion. I think that Gus was drawn to this story because he has an uncanny ability to convey the complexities of youth and outsiders. For this is, above all else, the journey of an outsider.”

I have some news on Bryce’s film “The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond.” The movie is set to be released in New York and Los Angeles in December. It might be possible there will be more limited released after that, keep checking back to the site. For now, I found a new movie poster featuring Bryce for the film, check it out below.

The website blooddisgusting has shared what is possibly the poster for the Twilight Saga: Eclipse. The action ramps up under the direction of horror filmmaker David Slade. Bella (Kristen Stewart) is surrounded by danger as Victoria (Bryce Dallas Howard) seeks her revenge. Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Jacob (Taylor Lautner) must join forces to stop the vampire army.

Production has already wrapped on that sequel while the stars prepare for the non-stop promotional blitz for the other.
