Clint Eastwood’s “Hereafter” will join a lineup of international features at the 48th New York Film Festival, which on Monday announced 25 new additions to its lineup.

The Eastwood film, which stars Matt Damon and Bryce Dallas Howard and tells interlocking stories of three characters affected by death or near-death experiences, will serve as the closing-night attraction at NYFF, which begins on September 24.
